The campaign drive for clothing and supplies turned out to be quite successful.  I began the drive in mid-December and collected all the way up until the end of January 2012.

I collected a variety of items from clothing for newborns up to the age of 16 years.  I also began collecting personal hygiene items which including: shampoo, soap, deodorants, undergarments, hair accessories and much more.

New Unique Home for Girls is a special home in Punjab, India that takes in abandoned and unwanted baby girls.  The issue of gendercide is prevalent in Punjab, baby girls have been left for dead in fields, on the side of the road some even poisoned just because they are girls. It has been considered one of the greatest humans rights violations in the world. 

The cultural values need to change, we all come from someone's daughter, let's work together to change this and empower these young girls to be better women then their mothers.
